The late 30s brought another short-lived foray into a different market.  This time Noblitt-Sparks made and sold metal carriers.  These carriers held six of the small 6 or 6-1/2 ounce Coke bottles.  There were many different such carriers serving the soft drink manufacturers, but this may have been the only one that folded flat when not in use.  Ostensibly this would be a space saving tool for shipping empty carriers, but we have no "official" reason for the design.  At any rate, this is a very rare Coca-Cola carrier that carries a nice premium for collectors.  Very few of these seem to have survived (maybe they weren't very popular and few were actually sold.
