Dan Patch Products

In the mid-1920s, the company (then Indianapolis Pump & Tube) purchased the company that manufactured children's items based on the famous standard-bred horse Dan Patch.

Most significant among these items was the Dan Patch Coaster Wagon.  Having only ever seen two of these wagons in "real life", we were fortunate that they represented two different models of the wagon, with each carrying a unique logo on the sides.  One carries a "DE LUXE" logo (akin to the product line of other items such as pumps the company marketed), and the other references the horse's world record 1:55 mile!

Production of the wagons was moved from the Dan Patch Company's Connersville (IN) site was assigned to the Indianapolis Pump & Tube's Seymour (IN) facility
